report - Valencia Would Prefer "Villa" To Join The Catalan Rather Than Madrid's

Labels:

Valencia would prefer to sell the spanish striker "David Villa" to the catalan than Madrid's, but valencia are around €10 million apart in their evaluation of the player after talks at the weekend, according to a report.

David villa has been on Real Madrid's agenda this summer as Florentino Perez has tried to prise him away from Valencia with various bids, all of which have been rejected.

Now El Baca have entered the race and talks have been progressing with the Catalan prepared to offer €35 million, but Valencia holding out for their €45 million fee.

Madrid's are believed to have been told that David Villa wouldn't be allowed to leave on the cheap when the Spanish giants have already paid out so much on Ricardo Kaka and Ronaldo.

With the latest offer of €25 million plus €18 million rated Alvaro Negredo being rejected, El Mundo Deportivo now believe that El Barca are in the driving seat.

The new board at Valencia, with president Manuel Llorente at the helm, would prefer to see Villa go to Barcelona because of the manner in which Barca have gone about their offer.

Perez's pushy, take it or leave it routine didn't go down well and as Valencia surprised Real Madrid by sticking to their valuation, Davis Villa now looks likely to either stay or move to Barca.

El Mundo Deportivo state that the sporting vice president of the European champions, Rafael Yuste, has confirmed talks have taken place and that would indicate that the cameroonian striker Samuel Eto'o is set to leave.

the Catalan want to sell Samuel Eto'o before buying another and the fee received would make a big money arrival possible.
