The European Champions €50 Million Offer For David Villa Includes Juan Mata

Labels:

Barcelona's proposed offer for the spanish striker David Villa with players on loan in return is not as clear cut as was first reported because barcelona want Juan Mata included, according to a report.

The european champions confirmed that they held talks with Valencia last weekend and were set to follow up with a bid of €50 million, with Bojan Krkic and Martin Caceres spending a year at valencia.

But that fee wasn't just for Villa as Barca also stated that for such a huge amount that they wanted Mata thrown in the deal as well, La Sexta have now revealed.

Barcelona are said to be Valencia's preferred destination for their striker to go as Real Madrid's interest looks set to be rekindled, but the new twist has meant they could now be rejected.

The Spanish media still believe that David Villa will go to the Real madrid, but the two Catalan sports dailies believe that a deal will be struck if and when Samuel Eto'o agrees to leave Barcelona.
