Agent - Yaya Toure New Barcelona Deal

Labels:

Toure's agent has revealed that he thinks his client is on the verge of signing a new deal with The Catalan.

Toure has been rumoured to be leaving Barcelona this summer, with clubs in Italy and England reported to be interested.

However, it now looks as though he is going to sign an extension with The Catalan and stay, as Dimitri Seluk explained to Onda FM.

"Barca are optimistic about resolving the issue and I believe that we are on the verge of signing an agreement. However, it is clear that the time limit is next week, he signs or he doesn't sign," he said.

It will be welcoming news for Barca, who had feared that they could lose the Ivory Coast international, with The Gunners as a possible suitor.

Seluk revealed that there has been interest, but that yaya Toure himself wants to stay at the Camp Nou with Barca.

"Although there are many clubs interested, we are not interested in them. In fact, he can only play for eight teams, three of them in Italy, three in England and two in Spain," he add.
