Barca Take Robinho On Loan

The Catalan look set to complete a deal that will see them sign "Robinho" on loan from Manchester for one season with a view to making the move permanent next year,Barcelona television are reporting.

TV3 state that an agreement will be done in the next few hours after barcelona made their interest official and talks to iron out the details are going on at the moment.

"Robinho" has stated that he would welcome a move back to the Spanish league and Pep Guardiola is a known fan of the Brazilian star after he stated he would have liked to have signed him 12 months ago.

Reports in both England and Spain have suggested that the 25 year old has a clause in his contract allowing him to leave if a team in the Champions League make a move for him and Barçelona have used that.

Talks about a possible move for Robinho are rumoured to have begun when Manchester enquired about Eto'o and a deal for Eto'o could be part of the whole package.

With El Barca wanting Robinho to bolster their options on the left next term after Ribery was put out of reach by Bayern, the English side are keen on adding a new striker to their ranks.

Samuel Eto'o knows that Barca would prefer to cash in on him than meet his contract demands and Manchester maybe pressing the Catalans to make a decision about his future with Robinho's status at stake.
