Having been released by Barcelona, Sylvinho is all set to return to Corinthians.

After a fairytale ending to his Barcelona career, when he played in the Champions League final win over Manchester United, Sylvinho was informed that he wasn't needed at the club next season.

According to Sport, his former club Corinthians are the favourites to win his signature.

Speaking about his future, Sylvinho said, "I am on holidays in Sao Paulo now after a very long season and I want to rest.

"I would be very pleasing to return to Corinthians. I grew up there, and have friends at the club.

"That is my preferred option, and if Corinthians are interested, I will not think twice about it."
