Reports that Barcelona are looking at Fiorentina goalkeeper "Sebastien Frey" to replace Victor Valdes this summer.
The news comes on the same day that negotiations between Victor Valdes and The catalan with regards to a new contract have apparently broken down.

Now, with just a year left on his current deal at the catalan, Victor Valdes future looks in doubt and he could well leave this summer.

If he is to go then Barca will have to replace him, hence Sky Italia reporting that they are looking at the experienced and proven Sebastian Frey.

Barcelona are apparently willing to pay big money for the goalkeeper and will use Marquez as part of the deal a player who Fiorentina are reported to be interested in.

With regards to a price for the Frenchman, it is though that he will cost Barca in the region of €15-20 million.

One minor stumbling block to any deal could be the fact that Frey still has four years left on his contract with Fiorentina and is expected to stay with the Viola until 2013.

With Barca he would be guaranteed Champions League football, whilst his current side have to go through qualifying.
