Independiente coach Americao Ruben Gallego has revealed that he wants to sign Gaby Milito from Barca to bolster his team's rearguard for the new season.

The trainer, known more commonly as Tolo, made no secret about which player he would like and it remains to be seen if the Argentinian international feels the same way.

Gaby Milito is almost fully fit after nearly 14 months on the sidelines with a serious knee injury, and has yet to discuss his future with Barcelona coach Pep Guardiola.

In a bid to give him another option, Gallego has made it clear that should the former Real Zaragoza star have any doubts then there is an option waiting for him back home.

"I want players with courage and if I had to choose, I want a leader in my team like Milito," he told reporters in Argentina.
