la Blaugrana To Offer Valencia Martin Caceres, Keirrison & €40m For Villa

Labels:

Barca are preparing a mega bid for Villa as they seek a swift resolution to negotiations.

According to Sport, the Catalan are prepared to offer Valencia €40 million plus Martin Caceres on a permanent deal and Keirrison on loan. While this is not a final offer, it is believed that Barcelona are unwilling to offer too much more.

Keirrison is expected to sign a five year contract with La Blaugrana on Tuesday, and the club are keen for him to get some top flight experience away from the pressures of the Barcelona Giants. Indeed, Valencia have been tracking him for some time, and tried to sign him in January.

Martin Caceres, meanwhile, failed to impress in his first season at the club, even being overlooked at centre back in favour of Yaya Toure towards the latter stages. He would fill a hole at Valencia, with Raul Albiol already having been sold to Real Madrid.

Manchester United are said to have offered €48 million for David Villa, but Barcelona can count on his desire to stay in Spain in their favour.
