Dani Alves Recommends Best Friends Robinho For Barca

Labels:

Dani Alves has insisted that El Barca are "not worried" by R Madrid's spending this week and says it is normal that they are signing players to try and win titles again.

The capital club have already secured the transfer of Ricardo Kaka this week and are set to finalise a deal for Ronaldo in the coming days.

However, even though the rest of the world is eagerly anticipating a surge from Real Madrid next season, Daniel Alves is not too concerned.

"The ones who have money and can allow those luxuries, they do it. That is them," Marca quote him as saying.

"At Barca we aren't worried because we are the ones who are going to be defending our titles and it is "normal" that others strengthen so they can try and win."

Asked about the sums that Real Madrid are paying for Christiano Ronaldo and Ricardo Kaka, Daniel Alves joked that "the figures we are talking about are above me".

He did however reveal that should Barca decide to splash out the cash, he would look to Brazil for signings, and especially to Robinho.

"If I could recommended players, I would ask that they hired all the players here in the national team. As that is not possible, I think a player that would fit perfectly into our team would be Robinho," he add.

"But we do no have to worry about that. Our team is doing very well, we are the champions of Europe this years."

Finally, the Brazilian spoke about the impact they could have on the league next season, and stated that they still have to play on the pitch.

"We are focused on ourselves and the other teams are the ones who have to reinforce to beat what is currently regarded as one of the best teams in Europe," he said.

"Perhaps they will be better with new players but football is played on the pitch and one must show who is better, that will only be known at the end of the season."
